AXE Magazine Launch – Berlin
Lately, I traveled to Berlin to join the launch of the new AXE men’s magazine. Very Berlin-like we celebrated the party at a so called ‘Kiosk’ where you can eat and drink until late in the evening. It’s a pretty cool concept, not the typical bar place – it’s all based on self-service directly at the fridge. The mood was great and as announced some famous people showed up. Albino-model Shaun Ross, the German blogger Willy Iffland and many more creative people. After a few drinks the DJ turned up the music and the whole place was a big party. I had a great time in Berlin, met a lot of friendly and creative people. Launching a high quality magazine is not an easy job, but I think AXE made a really good job here.AXE Magazine – What is it about?

On a sunny Friday morning, we packed our stuff into the Range Rover Sport and drove up to Sölden. The Bergland Hotel is nestled directly in the town of Sölden. You can park your car in front of the building, whilst the staff arranges your luggage and shows you the beautiful room.
Since the movie ‚Spectre‘ was filmed in Sölden, the town is pretty proud to be part of the whole Bond-Mania. Of course, the Bergland Hotel has also quite a lot of Bond posters which gives it a nice ambiance. After a busy day, you enjoy relaxing at the spa or having a wonderful and delicious dinner in their restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, yet roomy and really cosy.
Sölden is located close to the Italian border in the beautiful 65km long Öztal valley, in Tyrol, Austria. Beautiful Sölden and its magnificent scenery make the perfect hideaway to let your body, mind and soul relax. Besides relaxing, Öztal offers a broad choice of summer as well as winter activities you can perform, such as hiking, climbing, biking, skiing, glacier skiing, and much more.
Bergland Hotel Spa
As Spa lovers we highly appreciated the outright and diverse spa area with its finnish sauna overlooking the Öztal valley. Once a day you get to enjoy a slackening scented sauna infusion by the experienced sauna master including peeling and useful advice on ‘how to sauna’.
We felt in very close touch with nature lying on the comfortable hay beds, looking over the beautiful valley and scenting the freshly cut hay that fulfills the spacious and private relaxation chambre. Pure bliss unlike anywhere compareable!

The sun was out on an amazing Autumn day, which was an ideal chance to drive up to the glacier.
Glacier Road, 1377 – 2800 meters over sea level
Öztal Glacier Road with its 15km length is one of the highest roads in the Eastern Alps. The road connects Sölden at 1377 meters over sea level with the glaciers Rettenbach and Tiefenbach over 2800 meters.
Plenty of breathtaking views, the unique glaciers and the moonlike scenery on top of the mountains make the summer jurney with the powerful Range Rover Sport up the glacier road incomparable.
F1 Singapore – Our flight with Singapore Airlines
Traveling is definitely one of my big passions and the F1 Singapore was on my bucket list for a while. My whole life, I’ve been flying to the most beautiful spots on earth, because life is a wonderful path of adventures. Most of the time, I considered flying as a necessary instrument to bring you from A to B in the cheapest way possible. But let me tell you, flying Business Class with Singapore Airlines doesn’t feel like flying anymore, it’s far beyond that. I’ve traveled 30 countries now, but these two flights were the best two I had in my life, literally.
F1 Singapore – Our flight with Singapore Airlines
From the very moment you’re entering the airport, until you arrive at your preferred destination, it’s a totally different adventure. One of many outstanding facts, is the extraordinary service you’re experiencing when flying Singapore Airlines Business Class. The cabin crew provides a lovely and outstanding service to their customers.
Singapore airlines a380 business class– Widest Seats in the Market
The seats in the A380 are the widest you can get in a business class booking, and with a height of 1,93 I had no issues sleeping like a baby – completely stretched. The food is fantastic, you’re being served with haute cuisine beef tenderloin. You can imagine, the flight of over 10 hours felt like heaven on a plane and unfortunately, it was over very quickly.
Remember waiting bored at the airport on an uncomfortable seat? Not happening when flying business class with SIA. You get the access to stay in their lounge with a delicious meal and a comfy seat.
F1 Singapore Night Race
The F1 Night race is probably the most spectacular race during the year. On such a race week-end the city turns into a big Formula 1 party. On our way from the airport to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, I already saw Singapore’s skyline and the lights of the track.
Later in the evening – even from far – you hear the first warm-up of the cars, which makes you excited to attend the race. Thousands of people are coming to see their favourite teams and drivers to corner around the racetrack. Rosberg was leading the run, skipped a pit stop at the very end to save some time, which allowed Ricciardo to get closer. A lap more and the race would have ended differently. It was very exciting and it’s the reason I love sports so much!
Grand Hyatt Singapore
After our flight with Singapore Airlines, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt, which is located closely to the shopping district in Singapore, a perfect Hotel to stay for any sorts of occasion. There is everything you need: comfort, space, a fantastic service, a large pool and brilliant spa treatments. A Hotel with the highest possible standards. I almost didn’t trust my eyes, the Deluxe Room is almost as big as my flat!
After three days of action, it was time to get a ‘Damai Spa Treatment’. The one-hour massage was superb, relaxation to the fullest.

Discover Singapore
Of course there is a huge list of must-have-seen in Singapore. We went to see the Thian Hock Keng Temple, Marina Bay Sands and I cruised through the city with a Lamborghini Gallardo by Ultimate Drive.
I will never forget my trip to Singapore. Attending a F1 race and flying Singapore Airlines Business Class was unbelievable in every way. Thanks for having me, I’m sure you will read more soon!
